Accountabilities:
Assistants contribute to a range of projects that support the Digital Learning & Media Center and Creative Technologies endeavors.
Responsibilities may include:

- Testing newly installed software and newly acquired hardware to support ITS services and infrastructure
- Inspecting, assessing, inventorying, and performing basic maintenance or repairs on shared equipment
- Assisting with documentation, tutorials, and training resources related to tools and services
- Supporting the maintenance and organization of equipment used for digital media production and fabrication workflows
- Capturing media such as b-roll, interviews, and documentation footage for DLMC initiatives
- Supporting student and faculty projects involving digital media, fabrication tools, and emerging technologies
- Contributing to collaborative design, prototyping, and iteration of new tools, resources, or workflows
Assistants are expected to work collaboratively with team members, share knowledge gained through projects, and contribute to a culture of experimentation and peer learning.
These activities support the broader mission of ITS to foster creative exploration and technology-enabled learning across the university.
