Position Description

UW Medicine Primary Care, in conjunction with the Department of Family Medicine, is seeking three (3) Flex ARNPs/Teaching Associates for a primary care practice in Woodinville, Issaquah, and Kirkland.

Teaching Associates hold annual appointments that align with a 12-month service period (July 1-June 30) and may be reappointed to subsequent annual terms. Faculty with 12-month service periods are paid for 11 months of service over a 12-month period (July-June), meaning the equivalent of one month is available for paid time off. In addition to providing primary care, this role will include some clinical teaching responsibilities. Positions will ideally start Spring/ early Summer 2024.

UW Medicine Primary Care offers a complete spectrum of primary care services and is committed to improving the health of the public. The providers are actively engaged in teaching and provide care using the medical home model, creating a friendly and stimulating atmosphere for providers, staff and patients.

The base salary range for this position will be $10,121-$10,465 monthly, commensurate with experience and qualifications, or as mandated by a U.S. Department of Labor prevailing wage determination. This range is inclusive of base salary provided through the UW Physicians (UWP) practice plan, in addition to base salary provided by the University. Please note that only compensation provided by the University is included in University benefit determinations and calculations. Compensation provided by UW Physicians (UWP) practice plan may provide eligibility for separate benefits offered by that organization.

Other compensation associated with this position may include one-time Monthly Additional Compensation payment and incentive pay based on performance.

Qualifications

Candidates must have earned an ARNP, PA-C and should be board certified. Candidates will need to possess or obtain a valid Washington State medical license and DEA cert. Experience in primary care setting preferred.
