The Assistant Director of Strategic Marketing will plan, coordinate, administer, and analyze comprehensive marketing strategies for programs in Loyola College of Arts and Sciences (LCAS). As a member of the University's office of marketing and communications, as well as a member of the LCAS dean's administrative office, the assistant director plays a key role in branding LCAS and marketing the various graduate programs. The assistant director will work collaboratively with members of LCAS, Undergraduate Admission, Graduate Admission, and the Office of Marketing and Communications.

Marketing
Strategize and develop new marketing campaigns and initiatives in conjunction with the strategic marketing team and dean and associate deans in Loyola College of Arts and Sciences. Write the annual marketing plans for LCAS programs in consultation with the Director of Strategic Marketing and Associate Vice President for Marketing and Communications. Initiate, coordinate, and execute the annual marketing plan for LCAS graduate programs. Develop and write content for the web, advertising, social media channels, video, magazine, direct marketing materials, or other similar digital and print publications. Prepare and coordinate the production of marketing support materials. Work closely with the recruitment staff to carry out complementary marketing recruitment tactics aimed at new graduate student inquires, applications, and enrollment yield.

Communications
Identify, write, and communicate student and faculty testimonials and other marketing copy for internal and external distribution and publication. Implement the online and traditional media plans. Build and maintain graduate program web properties. Work with the director of strategic marketing, director of university communications, associate director of creative design, and director of web communications to contribute to the development of other needed content through various communications channels. The assistant director will work to ensure a consistent brand experience across all communications channels.

Administrative
Act as a primary liaison between the office of marketing and communications and LCAS to ensure an effective marketing approach to build and maintain a strategy consistent with Loyola's brand. Represent LCAS in meetings with marketing consulting and creative services firms, as needed. Advise faculty and staff concerning the planning and proper use of publications and public relations approaches, assist in the direction of special programs conducted by LCAS, including arranging for publicity. Develop marketing reports in conjunction with the strategic marketing team and share those reports with various stakeholders. Plan end of term/year review meetings with consulting partners and school, as needed.

Performs all other duties and responsibilities as assigned or directed by the supervisor. This may include attendance of and participation in required training for role.
