Position Details:
The coordinator for housing operations is a full time, live-off professional staff member reporting directly to the associate director of housing operations in Residence Life and Housing. This role will support students' needs throughout the housing process. They will be a high-level user of Loyola's housing software, currently StarRez. The coordinator for housing operations is part of the housing operations team. The work of this team is to ensure all residential students have a safe, comfortable place to live on campus and supports students' housing needs through their time living on campus.
1. Housing Operations:
Oversee the contract extension and early arrival process
Meet with students to support room changes
Manage all key processes (including audits, re-key, and lost key requests)
Process facilities billing for damages and vandalism
2. Support:
Assist in the management of the department email account
Manage customer service initiatives (including tracking interactions and reviewing best practices)
Assist with housing operations-related data tracking and updating reports
Support housing operations events
Support housing operations processes, hall openings and closings, and report facilities/hall concerns
Complete accurate and timely administrative reports and paperwork
3. Web & Social Media:
Manage the housing operations external web pages on the Loyola.edu website
Support the housing operations teams with graphic design and social media needs
Performs all other duties and responsibilities as assigned or directed by the supervisor. This may include attendance of and participation in required training for role.
Position Weekly Schedule:
This position promotes student success during traditional business hours at the University. However, there are times during the school year that requires additional presence. These typically include semester opening and closing and during events in the Spring semester supporting housing selection.
