Reporting to the Director and Assistant Director of the new Global Development Policy Center, the Communications & Outreach Specialist develops and manages the Center's overall strategic communications and outreach programs, including developing project budgets and deadlines and ensuring compliance with both. Responsible for overseeing all content related to the Center's public communications and related schedule, including the website and social media outlets, and supervising work-study students who work on related issues. Responsible for developing and managing a system for tracking and evaluating the effectiveness of outreach efforts by the Center and recommending improvements and changes as necessary. Oversees all logistics of event activities and communications about public programs, special events, conferences, workshops, and alike.
Bachelor's Degree and 1-3 years of experience required. Experience in the use of Excel, Constant Contact, Wordpress, Adobe Photoshop, MS Office Suite, HTML, Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, and InDesign.
