The position manages data imports and exports to enrollment CRM's: Slate and Advise, including inquiry and applicant data; creates and maintains system processes including executing rules, workflows, and integrations.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Manage the data import and export to the enrollment CRMs Slate and Advise, including inquiry and applicant data from both internal and external sources. This would include University SIS and external vendors.
Serve a primary role in systems management of the Slate CRM, including, testing, updates, training, creations of rules and dashboards as well as creation of workflows and operations to support the Enrollment Management area.
Work with other offices to plan and coordinate all activities tied to Slate and related business systems (especially technical in nature), including design, implementation, enhancements, integration and maintenance, while following best practices. Communicate any system changes, upgrades, or clarifications to end users
Manage the institutional online applications with Slate and Common App. Including annual updates, process improvements and imports.
Serve as first level support for all CRM related concerns raised by staff and faculty, collecting necessary details and triaging the requests, including first level diagnostics
Manage the technical functionality of the new student portal for the various admission offices
Other Duties and Responsibilities:
Work closely with other offices on campus including Office of Information Technology (OIT), act as a technical resource for the campus as it pertains to the Admissions application and operations.
Provide extensive subject matter expertise (technical and functional) of Slate and related business systems (through self-guided education, as necessary), demonstrate a high level of analysis, commitment, curiosity, and creativity
Collaborate with the Enrollment Leadership Team throughout the enrollment cycle.
Participate in professional conferences and training when appropriate.
Perform other duties, as assigned.
Knowledge of CRM implementation and management
Knowledge of US higher education process
Familiarity with admission related terminology and procedures
Abilities and Skills:
Able to exercise sound judgement and demonstrate initiative to address problems and develop practical and creative solutions.
Proficiency with the implementation and management of CRMs.
Effectively manage multiple projects and follow through to completion.
Demonstrated commitment and ability to maintain compliance with established guidelines, policies, and procedures in order to ensure consistency.
Exercise excellent organizational abilities, including a high level of analysis, creativity, and resourcefulness
Possess high energy level along with patience and flexibility.
Bachelor's degree required. Preferred degree in computer science, information technology, web technology, or related field.
Two to three years' experience managing an Admission CRM, preferably Slate Technolutions CRM, as well as experience with Ellucian Colleague Student Information System and CRM Advise, are preferred.
