Compensation: $44.22 per hour (range 35, step 1 on the 2019-2020 classified salary schedule).

Position Details: One temporary interim position, 40 hours per week, primarily on the Oceanside Campus of MiraCosta College, beginning in late September 2019 and continuing for an indeterminate amount of time until the position is filled through an open recruitment. The interim manager will be eligible to apply for the regular position. The work schedule will normally be Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, however the manager does not work during breaks when classes are not in session. The individual selected for this position will be subject to assignment to any district facility during any hours of operation.
Basic Function: Under general direction, plan, organize and manage district-wide Health Services programs, including medical and nursing services and health education and promotion at all district campuses; develop and monitor programs and budgets; supervise Health Services personnel; and perform related duties as assigned.
Education & Experience: To be eligible for this position, you must meet and provide evidence of the following minimum qualifications:
1) a current valid California license as a registered nurse;
2) five years of related work experience including supervisory experience;
3) either of the following: a) a masters degree in nursing and a California Public Health Nurse certificate or b) a bachelors degree in nursing, a California Public Health Nurse certificate, and a masters degree in health education, sociology, psychology, counseling, health care administration, public health or community health.
NOTE: For work experience, one year is defined as equivalent to 40 hours per week for 12 months, or at least 2,080 hours.
