The Department of Preventive Medicine seeks to hire a Computer Services Consultant to provide support in online education programming, including computer hardware, course video recording and editing, Â software, and networks to faculty, students and staff of the Master of Public Health (MPH) Online Program.Â The ideal candidate will have experience in instructional design, videography, and tech support.
The individual will:
Provide technological assistance to faculty during development and delivery of online courses.
Communicate and/or demonstrate usage of equipment and distance learning software to faculty, staff and students.
May troubleshoot problems during equipment and/or software operation, advise end users, and make necessary modifications.
Work with other offices and partners to manage internal and external information flows.
Provide general support as needed.
Experience with instructional design, videography, and distance learning software (i.e., web conferencing tools such as Zoom, Moodle Learning Management System, Canvas LMS, Adobe Articulate, etc.)
Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree, Combined experience/education as substitute for minimum educationMinimum Experience: 1 year, Combined education/experience as substitute for minimum experienceMinimum Field of Expertise: Familiarity with one or more operating systems.
