We are seeking a Systems Manager to join our rapidly growing team.

Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, and external customers. Meet customer needs, offer options, resolve problems, and follow up with customers. Maintain friendly, helpful demeanor. Resolve difficult customer problems.
Directly or indirectly supervise department employees and/or student workers. Perform recruitment, screening, hiring, orientation, and training of department staff. Evaluate employee performance and provide guidance and feedback. Counsel, discipline, or terminate employees. Resolve problems referred by subordinate supervisors or staff. Oversee processing of time cards and delivery to payroll.
Participate in planning and administration of department budget. Provide projections and reports at least monthly for development and administration of budget. Monitor expense and labor costs to meet budget guidelines.
Open and/or close department. Direct staff in ensuring that department is neat, orderly, and sufficiently stocked. Oversee physical inventory and the security of the department. Arrange for repair or maintenance of equipment or facility.
Research, develop, and implement policies and procedures to improve the operations of the department.
Participate in planning, implementing, and administering communications programs within the department. Schedule and conduct staff meetings as least monthly within department to facilitate attainment of department objectives.
Participate in strategic planning for department or section. Provide input and assist in developing goals and objectives. Participate in planning and implementing department programs, projects, and activities. Administer programs and projects as assigned.
Maintain resident databases including fingerprint and facial recognition systems. Ensure biometric system is functioning in all areas.
Maintain Housing surveillance camera system and ensure cameras are functioning correctly.Conduct investigations using surveillance footage upon request at the direction of DPS, Residential Education, Housing, Human Resources, Title IX, and/or Equity and Diversity
Maintain Housing resident door lock access software.Maintain an accurate application database and configure new locks, portals and users as needed.Maintain Customer Service Center key inventory system software and hardware.Train managers on proper operation.
Maintain Housing package tracking hardware and software in support of the Customer Service Centers and their residents.Manage bulk data uploads and manual changes as requested.
Maintain Housing resident shared hardware including touch-screen displays and student print stations.
Education: Bachelorâs Degree.
Experience: 3 years.
Managerial, budgeting and purchasing experience in Housing/Residential industry.
Experience supervising, training, hiring, and counseling employees.
Knowledge of applicable federal, state, local, and University laws and policies.
Demonstrated customer service and communication skills.
