Keck School of Medicine: Department of Surgery is recruiting a Staff Perfusionist. The Staff Perfusionist operates
extracorporeal circulation equipment to support or replace patient cardiopulmonary/circulatory function and
manages and monitors patient physiological functions. The Staff Perfusionist will also monitor and analyze
anticoagulation and physiological functions, induce and revers hypothermia, perform hemodilution and
hemofiltration and administrator medications. Additionally, the Staff Perfusionist will perform documentation for
each case including patient charts, studies and other clinical records.

Minimum Education: Specialized/technical trainingMinimum Experience: 6 - 12 months, Combined education/experience as substitute for minimum experienceMinimum Field of Expertise: Graduation from accredited perfusion training program, certified or certification-eligible by American Board of Cardiovascular Perfusion, current CPR/BCLS, knowledge of universal precautions.
