The University of Southern Californiaâs Department of Preventive Medicine invites applications for a clinical-track faculty position at the rank of assistant, associate and professor (senior) that will focus on health care delivery, health services and policy with an emphasis on preventive services, public health and implementation science.Â There are opportunities at the. The position will have affiliations with the Gehr Center for Health Systems Science.Â Specific responsibilities include:
Oversee the health services and policy concentration for the Master of Public Health (MPH) program, including curriculum development, student advisement and teaching.
Teach one or more courses in the Foundations of Public Health, health systems and financing, quality of care and/or health policy.
Develop a research portfolio in health systems science related to health services research and policy analysis, in conjunction with other Preventive Medicine faculty, Â other departments, and other Schools within the USC.Â This includes sponsored research, publications and presentation at professional meetings.
Oversee the MD/MPH dual degree program for the Keck School of Medicine and the Department of Preventive Medicine.
Provide mentoring (Full professor only) of junior faculty, doctoral students, and post doctoral scholars.
Doctorate (Ph.D., Dr PH or MD or equivalent)
