Bachelorâs Degree preferred. HS Diploma or GED required
5 yearsâ experience in a perioperative area and understands departmental operations with at least 1-2 years supervisory/ lead experience. Â Supervisory experience in a perioperative setting preferred
Knowledge of various OR equipment required
Knowledge of various operating room equipment and procedures.
Knowledge and skill of aseptic techniques.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Specialized expertise in technical processes and procedures.
Demonstrated ability to prioritize work and meet timely deadlines
Demonstrated ability to be a team leader and/ or as a team player.
Displays a positive attitude. Excellent interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with other staff

ORT experience preferred
Current BLS for Healthcare Provider from American Heart Association
Fire and Safety Certification.Â If no card upon hire, one must be obtained within 30 days of hire, and maintained by renewal before expiration date.Â
The OR Aide Supervisor possesses recognized leadership and sound clinical skills and will actively assist the Clinical Director of Perioperative Services coordinating clinical related activities. Assists with set-up of room, procuring positioning devices and equipment, turn-over and cleaning of OR and training and education of OR Aides. The OR Aide Supervisor will supervise OR aides. This position will handle the disciplinary actions for those they supervise. They will collect data and provide process improvement reports monthly.
