The Division of Biokinesiology & Physical Therapy is looking for a talented PT Operations Specialist to join the team. We are looking for a candidate with a Physical Therapy background who has experience in an array of different areas. The selected candidate must be willing to multi-task and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.
The selected candidate will be responsible for, but not limited to the following:
Assists in the development and updating of policies and procedures related to front office, operations, and billing to improve workflows and patient access. Communicates, implements, and provides training as it relates to policies and procedures.
Responsible for launch of single number and email for USC Physical Therapy with new branding efforts for USC PT and training of all staff to manage increase in calls.Utilizes CMS Supervisor R17 software to evaluate volume and management of calls.
Reviews and analyzes reports within EMR to evaluate and analyze conversation rates, referral tracking, authorization, eligibility, and optimize patient access at all sites, and other KPIs.
Participates in evaluation of operations to improve front-end operations, patient scheduling, and registration to optimize billing/collections for patient services.
Researches, gathers, organizes, and summarizes data for reports. Analyzes data for trends or conclusions and presents results and recommendations as it relates to front office operations and call center.
Knowledge of working in a fast-paced, physical therapy clinic.
Must be proficient in medical billing and extensive training in customer service.
Education: Masterâs Degree
Experience: 3 Years
Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree, Combined experience/education as substitute for minimum educationMinimum Experience: 2 yearsMinimum Field of Expertise: Directly related project or administrative experience.
