This position will be responsible for assisting the Program Coordinator for the Earth Program on St. John primarily with financial aspects of the program, but also will assist with other duties as described below. Financial duties of this position will include the following: Maintain permanent financial records for the Earth Program Review program expenditures for appropriateness and ensure that all documentation is provided Reconcile petty cash, cash receipts, and expenditures with the bank statement each month Prepare monthly reconciliation forms to be sent to ISU for review Compile a monthly "Budget to Actual" report
Required Minimum Qualifications:
Experience reconciling bank statements and preparing financial reports.
Experience doing business with the government in the Virgin Islands.
Experience with institutions in the private education sector.
Experience with facility oversight and maintenance
