Within the Division of Finance and Administration and under minimal supervision by the Assistant Vice Chancellor, DFA Support Services, the Administrative Analyst provides the highest level of administrative analysis, project support and executive support to the Assistant Vice Chancellor, DFA Support Services.The Analyst provides proactive, responsive, and effective executive-level support to the Assistant Vice Chancellor, DFA Support Services, and serves as a central resource for the coordination of the AVC's administrative projects. The incumbent acts as a liaison and representative for the office of Support Services to all levels of university administration, faculty and staff, university consultants, and members of the public; and analyzes and determines required actions for a variety of complex, highly sensitive, and confidential communications and information.The incumbent works in cooperation with other Division of Finance and Administration staff and university consultants on a variety of assignments and projects to support and ensure efficient operations of the Division of Finance and Administration. The position requires demonstratedknowledge, experience, and flexibility in providing analytical and executive administrative support to executive management in a challenging executive office with constantly changing priorities and assignments; ability to act with professional demeanor, poise and diplomacy with all levels ofuniversity administration, faculty, staff, university consultants, members of the community, and others.The successful candidate has extensive experience managing a broad range of administrative and analytical tasks and projects, and prioritizing a calendar of executive and operational meetings.The University of California, Irvine is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer advancing inclusive excellence.
