The PSR, following established practices, policies, and guidelines, provides clerical and administrative support/duties in the licensed clinics at Cedars Sinai Medical Center. These duties may include: answering incoming telephone calls; scheduling and authorization for appointments, surgeries and ancillary services; patient check out and rescheduling of follow-up appointments; insurance verification functions; chart/medical records preparation; and sorting and deposition of mail and patient information.

Coordinate patient's pre-procedure or surgery requirements with the primary care physician and CSMC OR scheduling 15%
Schedule patient's initial and follow-up visit to Thoracic Surgery Clinic and makes sure all lab and imaging test results are in prior to patient's clinic visit 20%
Room patients in, take vital signs, reconcile medications with patients, document onto CS-Link 25%
Answer incoming phone calls and triage; order supplies; clean shared equipment; transfer patient to emergency department PRN 20%
