The Kroc School is the nation's first stand-alone school of peace and justice. We develop unique programs and learning experiences to prepare and support innovative changemakers and peacebuilders to address humanity's urgent challenges involving violent conflict, injustice, inequity and oppression.
The Kroc School seeks a high-energy individual with experience that combines knowledge of higher education and business administrative experience to serve as the key administrator and advocate for the master degree programs within the School. The position requires a customer-focused personality and ability to interact with students, faculty and staff and the employer community. The Assistant Dean will be responsible for the overall graduate student experience, including curricula implementation and course mapping, program assessment, student services and support, and career services. The incumbent will be responsible for ensuring coordination of a multitude of activities, which determine graduate student success and satisfaction.
The candidate will have a post-graduate degree and a minimum of five years of recent administrative or academic environment work experience, including at least three years of experience in a supervisory or leadership role. Successful completion of a pre-employment background check and education verification required.
