Under the general supervision of the Campus Recreation Director serve as the Director for the Campus Recreation Class and Youth Programs involving approximately 50 classes per quarter/200 scheduled classes per year and approximately 50 custom classes per year in and around the UCI campus. In addition the incumbent is responsible for overseeing the Recreational Sports Camps and Summer Swim Program servicing over 400 student, staff and community youth. The Class and Youth Programs Director is responsible for all aspects of the position including hiring and scheduling instructors, approving curriculum, setting schedule and fees and enrollment and growing the program by developing new recreation class and camp opportunities.The University of California, Irvine is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer advancing inclusive excellence.
