Under the general direction of the Director, serves as the primary Business Manager/Fiscal Officer for Palo Verde Housing. The incumbent monitors and analyzes all operating and major maintenance accounts, prepares monthly financial reports; facilitates preparation of annual budget, participates in annual and long range financial planning processes, coordinates fiscal closing, and is a member of the departmental finance team. As a member of the Community Management Team, the incumbent participates in organizational policy making, planning, and problem solving. Assists in developing process and project metrics to increase efficiency/efficacy of financial and procurement business processes, conducts routine and ad hoc analysis and reporting. Oversees all procurement activity and records, prepares and expedites various requisitions; reviews and approves PALCard/Managed Spend Card transactions, and maintains, collects, and prepares information/data that is required for routine and/or ad hoc reporting/analysis.
