Charles R. Drew University of Medicine and Science is seeking an individual to partner with the Program Director in planning and coordinating academic and operational activities for the Psychiatry residency/fellowship programs. The individual will assist in the development and implementation of educational and administrative goals and be responsible for ensuring program, faculty and resident compliance with ACGME and University requirements. The Program Administrator will also provide guidance and advice on the interpretation and observance of the Psychiatry Residency Review Committee requirements, and graduate medical education policies and procedures.
The successful candidate will have prior experience in healthcare administration, healthcare regulatory compliance or quality assurance, or academic medicine with high volume project management. They will also have detailed knowledge of the ACGME accreditation standards and processes, including core principals of medical education, an understanding of human resources processes, and is self-directed.
