Information Technology Services at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse seeks applications for a PeopleSoft Administrator who will be responsible for maintaining all aspects of the campus PeopleSoft Campus Solutions environment. The environment includes several instances of the PeopleSoft Campus Solutions application operating on Linux servers running on Oracle Databases.
The position responsibilities include system design, system updates, system monitoring, and troubleshooting. These positions are also responsible for working within the application to configure services, manage security, and oversee all other aspects of the application.
This position operate as an architect of the UW-La Crosse PeopleSoft Campus Solutions deployment and will work with colleagues within IT and across campus to recommend business solutions built within PeopleSoft, inform on best practices, conduct audits, and create reports to meet campus needs.
This position operates under the supervision of the Assistant Director of Enterprise Services. The position will perform the established goals and priorities that are consistent with the Information Technology Services unit goals.
This is a full-time (100%), 12 month, annual position that includes a State of Wisconsin benefits package.
Bachelor’s Degree in a technology related field from an Accredited 4 year College or University (or equivalent field related experienced).
Experience working in Linux server environments.
Experience writing SQL and querying databases.
Knowledge of database systems and supporting software.
Knowledge and experience with web-based applications.
Experience with PeopleTools, PeopleSoft, or PeopleSoft Campus solutions.
Experience administering an ERP system.
Experience administering Oracle databases.
Experience in developing technical documentation.
Effective public speaking and presenting.
Collaborative working style and excellent listening skills.
Excellent organization and problem-solving/troubleshooting skills.
