Under minimal supervision from the Controller, the Senior Finance Analyst has responsibility for the financial activities of the UCI Alumni Association and provides input and advice to management regarding UC policies and procedures. The incumbent has direct responsibilities in fiscal operations. Works under minimal supervision. Provides a wide variety of high level analysis and solutions to complex business problems. Formulates logical and objective conclusions, recognizes alternatives, and develops plans to meet objectives. Develops new approaches when current methodology is inadequate. Works with and takes direction from the UCIAA Controller. Independently performs financial and accounting functions of the UCI Alumni Association using the Association's accounting system. Monitors cash flow and implements fund transfers as needed. Assists in budget preparation. Responsible for fiscal closing activities for the Alumni Association and University.
