Oversee the areas of occupancy, technology and marketing for the Student Housing Office. Lead members of the operations team and liaise with campus partners. Serve on the Student Housing leadership team and provide support to the Associate Director of Resident Services.
Typically a Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience. Master's Degree preferred. Incumbent will be expected to continue upgrading knowledge, skills, and abilities needed to keep abreast of regulation/policy changes.
Minimum 2-3 years experience in student housing administration. Additional experience in facility and housing management desirable. Familiarity and sensitive to the goals of a Catholic higher education in a multi-cultural environment.
Demonstrated knowledge in the areas of student housing operations and procedures; student information system management and development; landlord-tenant law; property management concepts and practices; ADA issues and office management principles.
Exemplary communication skills (both written and oral) evidenced by background in preparing comprehensive reports and executive summaries incorporating complex, highly technical information. Communicate effectively (orally and written) with individuals and groups. Good organizational, time management, and decision-making skills. Develop creative programs and training opportunities appropriate to student, staff and professional staff needs.
Ability to conduct long and short-range planning; selection, training, supervision and evaluation of personnel; compile and analyze statistics and complex problem solving.
Highly developed organizational and leadership skills.
Demonstrated computer competency and preferably knowledgeable of Microsoft systems.
