Gannon University, a Catholic university, invites applications for the position of Assistant Director of Financial Aid. This position actively supports the Financial Aid Office’s initiatives pertaining to awarding, counseling, and student employment. The successful candidate will work independently guided by established policies and procedures and objective-oriented guidance by the Director of Financial Aid. Must be able to support and promote the University’s mission.
A bachelor’s degree with a minimum of one year experience working in financial aid administration is required. An associate degree with two or more years of experience working in financial aid administration will be considered. Applicants must have knowledge of principles, practices and procedures for effective delivery of student financial aid, exceptional customer service and organizational skills, strong oral and written communication skills and technical capabilities. Knowledge of Ellucian/Datatel is highly preferred.
