Research Support - Laboratory/Non-Laboratory, Staff/Administrative
Under general direction, provides lab support and performs tasks and experiments in support of academic research projects. Responsibilities include advanced and routine molecular biology, biochemical, and cell biology techniques as well as developing and training others in new techniques. Maintains and prepares accurate records of all solutions made and testing performed. Secondary responsibilities include lab maintenance such as ordering, stocking, sterilization of materials and preparation of solutions.
Undergraduate coursework in Molecular Biology, Cell Biology or Genetics or related discipline.
Must be willing to work in an animal-related research environment.
Must be willing to work a flexible schedule based on research needs and deadlines.
Must be willing to submit to a background check.
