The University of California Irvine's Department of Medicine is seeking a Program Director to oversee complex multi-site behavioral intervention and clinical trial studies in health services and health behavior research. Key responsibilities are the management and oversight of research project staff and the management of multiple data collection activities, including patient-reported outcomes; program and outcomes evaluation; organizing, planning, and directing project operations; working with external public and private agencies to meet project needs; analyzing and interpreting study findings; preparing data for presentation in written and oral form; designing survey instruments and sampling procedures; analyzing problems and findings. Project duties: Hiring, training, and supervising research staff as needed; patient accrual and retention management; database development and management; survey development; establishing project deadlines and goal accomplishments for completion of project; preparation of project-specific financial reports; assist with manuscripts for publication, presentations, and grant submissions; data analysis; management of projects' on-going IRB compliance.The University of California, Irvine is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer advancing inclusive excellence.
