Position Summary: Incumbent is responsible for administration, development and staffing of assigned clinic. Coordinates and schedules admitting personnel including but not limited to AWs, SAW, and PAWs. In conjunction with manager, responsible for interviewing, hiring, disciplinary action and termination according to UCI policies and procedures. Trains, orients and provides in-service for front office staff. Monitors and directs the collection of productivity and other statistical information. Responsible for coordinating payroll, computer training, quality assurance and human resources issues for front office staff. Provides oversight for authorization and surgery scheduling and is able to provide additional help as needed.

Preferred Qualifications: Bilingual skills in English and Spanish and/or VietnameseKnowledge of Joint Commission requirementsKnowledge of University and medical center organizations, policies, procedures and formsKnowledge of all cardiology practices ,services offered, invasive & non-invasive procedures (interventional & diagnostic cath, electrophysiology, atrial fibrillation ablation, cardioversion, various forms of stress testing, cardiac ultrasound, heart rhythm assessment testing, etcStrong knowledge of UCI and outside payor authorization and scheduling policies and processes
